golf Course Maintenance?

I just got a job at a golf course for golf course Maintenance . it was my second day today and i need help. has anyone else worked in the same position as i am in? if so, could you help me by telling me some “slang” or lingo that comes with the job. For example, today my boss told me to “do the traps”…….i really had no idea where to start becasuse i had no idea what he was talking about. can any body help?
